Jury Duty scam has returned to Central Florida

This scam is rearing its ugly head again. People are being told they missed jury duty - now they have a fine, and a warrant has been issued for their arrest. They are then told to get a cash card, call a number, give the cash card number, then - and here's the part that makes it believable to victims - they then are given a real name of a law enforcement officer and are told to go see them so they won't be arrested! Of course when they go to the agency to meet the officer no one knows anything about it. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! The elderly are targeted most heavily. The clerk of the court will never ask you to purchase a cash card and pay over the phone. Please watch this video for more details.
