Gospel Festival returning to Apopka

Festival has a new name and date, but same music style and venue

It's not easy to put on a festival. Just ask the Apopka Christian Ministerial Alliance and the South Apopka Ministerial Alliance.

But if you're looking for lessons in perseverance, ask those same two groups. Back in January, the alliances were the primary sponsors of the First Annual Apopka Faith, Family, and Food Festival. They overcame several obstacles to bring the Festival to fruition. Despite a lack of time and a bad weather event day, they managed to gain a sponsor base, secure national and local talent, and establish a gospel concert in Apopka.

And with one under their belts, they are ready for the sequel. It's called the 2nd Annual Apopka Gospel Festival.

The second Festival sponsored by the alliances is scheduled for October 28th, 2017 at the Apopka Amphitheater from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. According to the alliances, this will be another praiseworthy, star-studded event also highlighting locally blessed talent... Stay tuned for more information!!!
