Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 1/6/2018

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week ending January 6th shows seven burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Four burglaries were reported at residences located in the 700 BLOCK of S HIGHLAND AVE, the 100 BLOCK of W 8TH ST, the 1800 BLOCK of SNAPDRAGON CT, and the 100 BLOCK of S CENTRAL AVE

One burglary was reported at a business located in the 2400 BLOCK of LINER AVE.

Four vehicle burglaries were reported in the 1600 and 1700 Blocks of S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL, the 400 BLOCK of PARKSIDE POINTE BLVD, and the 700 BLOCK of GULF LAND DR.

Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

  • 1 - Business
  • 4 - Residential
  • 4 - Vehicle
