Two-term District 7 incumbent Christine Moore took the momentum of a big win in the August runoff to defeat her challenger Matthew Fitzpatrick with 34,635 votes (56%). Fitzpatrick received 27,586 (44%).
Interestingly, 18,102 voters failed to vote for either candidate. This means that 23% of those who went to the polls and could have voted for either Fitzpatrick of Moore chose to not vote for either.

The voters in 34 precincts were eligible to vote for the candidates running for School Board Member from Orange County Public School District 7.
