And on Wednesday, August 23rd; they will bring their expertise to the UCF Business Incubator in Apopka.

"Many business owners use the bank statement to manage their cash flow, which is a huge mistake," says Robert. "Many owners do not grasp the concept of the accrual basis method, many are more familiar with cash method, thus not truly managing cash flow properly. With the proper tools and strategies, cash flow can be properly and efficiently managed to meet all business needs and to avoid cash shortage. We offer these tools and can work with the business owners to build such strategies."

The Ortiz team are no strangers to the UCF Business Incubator program, but this will be their first presentation at the Apopka site, and they look forward to helping the local business owners here.

Robert and Brandy Ortiz

"We have great contacts at UCF as we are heavily involved with UCF (i.e., panelist and exchange speakers, internship, mentoring students)," said Robert. "Dr. Cameron Ford introduced us to the UCF Incubator program. The more we learned what a great program the UCF Business Incubator is and what it has to offer to business owners, the more we knew we needed to get involved, more towards being a business consultant/advisor to the business owners within the incubator program. Jim Bowie, the site manager for the Kissimmee Incubator location, reached out to us in perhaps presenting a workshop at his location. Since we have made a presentation at his site, we have had the opportunity to help several business owners in a consulting capacity. Jim referred us to the Apopka Incubator site, which is how we got involved with that location. So in summary, we have chosen to work with the incubator as many of the business owners in the program could benefit from the financial and business consulting services we offer. This results in a win-win, where we all win. There's nothing more satisfying than having the opportunity to pay it forward."
