Orange County Public Works Department creates an interactive map for storm debris removal

Residents can zoom in on their street to see the status of the clean-up

Posted

In response to the extensive debris left after Hurricane Milton, the Orange County Public Works Department has unveiled an innovative interactive map to inform residents about ongoing clean-up efforts.

This user-friendly tool indicates where contractors work and allows residents to zoom in on their specific streets or enter their home addresses.

By doing so, they can quickly determine if debris removal has been completed, is in progress, or is scheduled for their area. As the community comes together to recover, this resource aims to provide transparency and ease concerns about restoration.

Whether your street is on the list or not, residents can stay connected and plan accordingly, ensuring everyone participates in the clean-up efforts.

Orange County released the following statement about the interactive map:

Orange County Public Works has developed an interactive map to help residents keep track of neighborhood debris removal and answer questions about debris from Hurricane Milton.

The map allows users to see where Orange County’s debris removal contractors are currently working and the clean-up status in their area.

Residents can also zoom in on their street or enter their home address to see whether debris removal on their street has been completed, is in progress, is scheduled, or will be up next.
