Posted

Music lovers in Apopka may be looking for Just AnotherTequila Sunrise  at the Apopka Amphitheater this weekend. Well, make it a Tequila Sunset.

The City of Apopka continues its free, family-friendly Saturday Sounds Concert Series on February 12th from 5 PM to 7 PM. This Saturday features a tribute to one of the all-time iconic bands in rock-and-roll history - The Eagles.

For over a decade, The Alter Eagles have been astonishing audiences across the United States with their inspiring tribute to the number one selling band of all time in North America. Alter Eagles are comprised of six versatile vocalists who each play multiple instruments during the show. The Alter Eagles play all of the Eagles classics, as well as songs from the newer albums and solo careers. Any fan of the Eagles music will recognize the subtle complexities of instruments and vocals paired with exacting harmonies when attending an Alter Eagles event.

The band was founded by Todd Pitts, who grew up singing harmonies with his siblings and his mother.  Her naturally amazing and classically trained voice has been passed to him along with an exceptional vocal range.  Todd was a huge Rush fan in his teens and decided to teach himself to play Bass and sing the parts of Geddy Lee.  He is a self-taught multi instrumentalist, including drums, guitar, keyboard, and bass. He spent the past 20 years, since completing his service in the U.S. Army,  touring and performing all over the United States. His phenomenal vocals and musical versatility are a hallmark of an Alter Eagles show.
