God's Not Dead 2 Opens Today

Because God's Not Dead 2 opens today, The Apopka Voice is re-publishing our review from January.

I attended a special screening of God's Not Dead 2 this week at the Regal Cinemas Waterford Lakes Stadium 20 & IMAX in Orlando. The fictional drama reaches the big screen and the hearts of the audience as the film depicts Christian faith on trial, a drama all too unfortunate a reality for many believers today.

A simple random act of kindness from a well loved and respected teacher Grace Wesley (Melissa Joan Hart) to one of her hurting students later leads this same student Brooke to ask a simple question about Jesus in an AP History class at Martin Luther King High School. Ms. Wesley states the historical facts about Jesus only to find herself removed from her teaching position and in an epic court case. The drama plays out through the lives of this all-star cast as they take a stand for God.

God's Not Dead 2 brings in real life heavy hitters into the courtroom drama. The writers cleverly weave in cast members from God's Not Dead as well as some fresh new faces. God's Not Dead 2 is a must see and leaves you wanting more with a jaw dropping teaser for God's Not Dead 3. Take the kids to see this powerful movie on taking a stand for what you believe. God's Not Dead 2 opens in theaters today.

Tickets are available in many theaters, so be sure to click on the Theaters link and get your seats today. Also, you can get started on bringing your group of 25 or more to see the film when it opens by visiting God's Not Dead official website.
