DOH-Orange hosts Veterans Wellness Fair

Posted

After serving their country with honor, many U.S. military veterans face unique physical, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Recognizing these needs, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County (DOH-Orange) offers support through a dedicated Veterans Wellness Fair—an event designed to connect veterans and their families with valuable health and wellness resources in a welcoming, stress-free environment.

Florida is home to more than 1.5 million veterans, many of whom could benefit from expanded access to community support and preventive health services. This fair aims to bridge that gap by offering guidance on managing stress and navigating education benefits for veterans and their families. In addition to the practical services, the event also creates space for connection, healing, and support among those who’ve experienced military life firsthand.

DOH-Orange is acknowledging the broader impact of military service and extending wellness opportunities to the entire support network by focusing on individual veterans and their spouses, partners, and families. It’s a chance to feel seen, supported, and empowered to live healthier lives.

The Florida Department of Health in Orange County (DOH-Orange) invites U.S. military veterans to a free Veterans Wellness Fair on Sunday, May 4th. The fair will occur from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following location:

Barnett Park – Pavilion 3

4801 W. Colonial Drive
