Affordable housing plans to be unveiled at townhall

"Town Hall for Homes" will introduce the Juniper Bend project in Apopka

Habitat for Humanity of Seminole-Apopka has invited the community to a town hall meeting this Friday to unveil plans to bring a new affordable housing community to Apopka. Comprised of 58 single-family homes, the community will be built over the next three years.

The one-hour town hall starts at 8:00 AM at the John Bridges Community Center, which is located at 445 W. 13th Street in South Apopka.

This free community breakfast event is for leaders and residents within the Apopka business, faith and civic community. Habitat will be sharing construction details for the new community and introducing some of the families who will be moving into the new homes.

Space is limited, but Habitat is encouraging people to share the information with a friend in the community or bring a guest with you.
