Spending time with the Almighty

PLEASE, MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME!

Imagine, yes, imagine that you have company and you are sitting in your living room. Your guest is not the mayor or the governor, and he is not the president. No, he is none other than Papa God. What are you going to say to him? after all, He is the almighty!

Are you going to try to impress Him with your great wisdom? Or are you going to tell him how a family member or some brother or sister in your church slighted you? Or perhaps you are going to share the latest bit of juicy gossip?

Are you going to be honest? Or are you going to embellish the truth? Gild the lily so to speak?

Remember, Papa God is sitting there in all His glory. He is gazing into your eyes, your very soul, not with condemnation or judgment, but with more love than you have ever known.

Or just perhaps you are going to accuse Him, to tell Him how unfair He has been to you, after all, He could have given you the “smart” genes. He could have made you handsome, or beautiful! Or He could have created you rich as Job, or wise as Solomon.

Or perhaps you are going to give Him your thoughts on global warming, abortion, and that “love your neighbor thing”. Hey, you know stuff don’t you?

Hmm, what if Papa God was going to spend the day with you, yeah, what if.
