From Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County & Greater Apopka is honored to be partnering with Sonny’s BBQ, on what will mark the fourth sponsorship between these two organizations since 2014. Sonny’s BBQ Vice President Jamie Yarmuth recently signed a letter of commitment for sponsorship of one of Habitat Seminole-Apopka’s Women Build homes for 2019. Habitat is pleased to work on another project with a company that has shown such continuous dedication to bettering its community.

Women Build is an event held in the spring of every year, during which, teams of local women and partners come together to build stronger, safer communities. This year, Habitat Seminole-Apopka’s Women Build project will take place in two locations: one in our Juniper Bend neighborhood in Apopka, and one on Summerset Terrace in Casselberry, where these volunteer teams will build alongside other volunteers from the community as well as the Habitat home’s future owner.
