Elected on March 8th to Seat #4 on the Apopka City Commission, Nick Nesta only has 15 days before his swearing-in on April 26th and 24 days before he sits on the dais.

It is the second City Center groundbreaking event held in 2022. In February, Brew Theory and Starbucks put shovel-to-ground to announce their arrival in Apopka.

Brew Theory Marketplace will consist of a 12,000 square foot food hall with offerings that incorporate many of Orlando’s finest restaurant concepts. Starbucks will be located on Main Street and McGee Avenue.

You might think Wes Dumey is impulsive. Deciding to run for the Apopka City Commission the day before the deadline is certainly evidence of that tendency, but Dumey insists that is far from the case.

There are coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and apartments in the works, but over five years have passed since Taurus Investments and the City of Apopka signed a contract.
