I rarely comment but must correct Mama Mia’s statement. I said I would hate to see them go. I mentioned Mayor Demings, staff, and I would be holding our own meetings as we weren’t given enough time for a formal reply.

As to my involvement in South Apopka it is substantial. As school board member I led rebuilding PW a year earlier and added the beautiful entrance to the gym for community use. I started the process to rebuild the blighted store with an adult education center. As commissioner we repaved all streets, audited, and repaired sidewalks. We upgraded to LED lighting. I hosted four Trail cleanups and offer leadership training for residents. Finally, the county runs Wheatley Park and the John Bridges Center.
