Report Inappropriate Comments

That day we drove up Maine St. and saw the first responders everywhere around Summit near the apartments. We didn't know what was going on, just happened to be going that way, but thought it was maybe a bad fender bender. Later, I was very upset to learn it was an armed robbery, where the victim was shot. Our neighborhood has had some problems, in the past, where police were called, but nothing as serious as this, to my knowledge. I feel things are only going to get worse. Sometimes, I really wonder if we should move away from here, but I wouldn't know where to go, that is safe. Is there such a place nowadays? I have been concerned lately with all the schools shootings going on, and in some cases, the shooters run out into the nearby neighborhoods.....the world is so different now, from when we were growing up. I feel sorry for the students who do try to learn in this chaotic culture of gun violence happening everywhere.
