I am catching up on the news now, after serving two days on jury duty. I know one thing, IMO, after riding to and from the downtown area of Orlando, you critical residents of our City of Apopka, who knock our downtown, need to think again! I would much rather be here in downtown Apopka, than in downtown Orlando. Commissioner Velazquez, I love your answer to your debate question, " a woman".....thumbs up to you! So glad the debate was light-spirited, and the tone was friendly. I know we residents do want more restaurant choices, but I am reading that Fuddruckers in Apopka and Orlando is closing. It is a sign of the times, with the pandemic, and our city leaders are not to blame for lack of more restaurants, or restaurants shutting down operations. Thanks for the debate updates Apopka Voice!
