NFL players teaming up in Apopka for youth football camp

2nd annual football camp coming to Apopka

Kansas City Chiefs Player Jaye Howard has teamed up with 14 NFL players from around the league to ensure 300 students from the Central Florida area schools have the opportunity to participate in the Howard Empowers Individual Football & Cheerleading Skills Camp. Howard is hosting the 2nd annual Howard Empowers Individual Football & Cheerleading Skills Camp April 8th from 8:00am - 2:00pm at the Northwest Recreation Complex. (3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway Apopka, Florida 32712).

The event is free to football players 7-17 years-old and cheerleaders 8-16 years-old. Lunch and snacks will be provided free of charge (registration is required).

Players will be divided into age groups 7-10, 11-14 and high school age players will participate in a 7 on 7 tournament.

Coach Boris “Bo Jack” Jackson will be teaching skills including plyometrics, footspeed, and agility, strength and power training, speed mechanics, balance, core strength and stability. Rochelle Bradley, former Miami Dolphin Cheerleader, will run the Cheerleading camp
