This Monday on LET’S TALK ABOUT IT with Rod Love and Greg Jackson, the “Dynamic Duo” will wrap up the special Apopka Election Series. In a close race for Mayor, Bryan Nelson and Kilsheimer will learn Tuesday, March 13th what voters have decided.
Apopka’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), with Kilsheimer, failed Apopka’s underserved community by paying $1 million for a parking lot while refusing to allocate a single dime for an equally significant redevelopment program in the areas of Apopka where residents and businesses are suffering most. Also, LET’S TALK ABOUT IT’s post regarding the City’s failed Alonzo Williams Park Project garnered 5,000-plus “reaches” just two days before the election, and Rod and Greg will discuss what that may mean for the incumbents and future elections in Apopka.
The LET’S TALK ABOUT IT Team will also give its predictions on the winners for Apopka City Commission Seats 1 and 2, as well as Mayor. We told you that this 2018 election cycle was going to be one of the most exciting and talked about in Apopka’s history.
