Job seekers finding assistance & guidance through Goodwill's webinars; 3 more in June

On Friday, June 18, 2021, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida’s virtual Job Connection team will host a free webinar for job seekers from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The latest in a series of virtual presentations, this session will focus on effective job search techniques. Attendees will also receive advice on avoiding common job search mistakes.

Many Central Floridians are still unemployed and unsure of how to find their next job opportunity, making Goodwill’s Job Connection services a valuable resource to the community. Employment specialists have been working virtually with job seekers to update résumés, practice interviewing and apply for openings online. Upcoming free webinars can be found on Goodwill’s website.

June webinars still to come

There are two additional webinars happening this month, including one on Wednesday, June 23, where Goodwill and Truist Bank will discuss budgeting. This interactive session runs from 11:30am - 12:30pm and will give attendees the tools needed to better manage a budget during a crisis (participants must register at this link).

The final webinar for June takes place Friday, June 25, from 11:30am - 12:30pm, for job seekers who want to explore career changes. Attendees will learn how to find employment opportunities that align with their experience, training, interests and values (participants must register at this link).
