Let's Play... Vote or No Vote

We all remember the 2000 election. Hanging chads made Florida the butt of many jokes as Florida's County Canvasing Boards looked at ballot after ballot trying to determine which votes were valid and which were no votes.

In January County Commissioner Bryan Nelson attended the 2016 Canvasing Board Workshop. There were several excellent presentations from members of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections, but the most interesting presentation allowed the attendees to apply the voting rules and play Vote or No Vote.

Now it is your turn. Commissioner Nelson provided us with four example ballot. Use the voting buttons to indicate your decision: Vote or No Vote. We will reveal the answers and the explanations on Monday. Have fun!
