Members of Nextdoor can use the neighborhood Treat Map to let everyone know if they are planning to hand out Halloween candy this year. The map can also be used to plan the most candy- and haunted-house filled route through your neighborhood.
To place a candy corn marker or haunted house icon on your house to show that you'll be welcoming trick-or-treaters:
Visit your neighborhood map by tapping on the TREAT MAP icon in the upper right side of your Nextdoor homepage.
A pop-up window should appear over your address on the map, asking "Are you giving out Halloween candy?". (If the window doesn't appear, click on your address.) Select Yes I am or Not this year, then click Continue.
If you've selected Yes I am a candy corn marker will be placed on your house on the map, and you will be given the option to place a haunted house on the map.
