Early Voting Begins Monday

Posted

Apopkans can vote at 17 different locations beginning on Monday.

March 15th is Election Day in Apopka, the day to vote on the Presidential Preference Primary Election and the Apopka City Council Seat #3 and Seat #4 Elections. But did you know that, unlike Christmas, you do not need to wait for Election Day to actually vote? And you do not have to vote at a polling place near your home?

Many Apopkans have already voted by requesting an Absentee Ballot, but an increasing number of voters cast their votes well before Election Day. And they often vote near their workplace, not near their home.

Use our interactive map to find the most convenient voting location. All locations are open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Florida Election Law allows voters to cast a ballot prior to Election Day at any designated Early Voting Center. And unlike Election Day, when voters are required to vote at only their designated polling place in the precinct where they live, a voter can vote at any Early Voting Center.

Early Voting begins on Monday, February 29th at 10:00 AM and ends on Sunday, March 13th at 6:00 PM.

Voters must show an acceptable Photo and Signature ID. Voters who are unable to provide a photo and signature ID will be issued a provisional ballot.

Early Votes are saved immediately but the results are not tabulated until election night.
