From the Florida Department of Health-Orange County
The Florida Department of Health in Orange County (DOH-Orange) will host a FREE Drive-thru Flu Shot point of dispensing clinic on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
The location of the event is Freedom High School, 2500 West Taft Vineland Road in Orlando. It will run from 10am until 4pm, and the flu shots are free for everyone six months and older.
The Drive-thru Flu Shot clinic will make it possible for residents to roll in, roll up a sleeve and receive a flu shot safely and quickly while remaining in their vehicles, and roll out. Also available, for ages 19 and up, is the adult hepatitis A vaccine.
Residents should wear clothing that is loose around the arm so the public health nurse can administer the flu shot in the upper arm, without requiring residents to leave the comfort and convenience of their vehicle.
For more information, please call DOH-Orange’s Immunization program at 407-858-1444.
