Crosby's Inn Restaurant to be remodeled

Posted

The Crosby's Inn Restaurant is to be remodeled, according to a Concept Plan reviewed by the Apopka Development Review Committee (DRC), earlier today.

The proposed plan involves the demolition of approximately 1,150 square feet of the 5.900 square foot resturant. The portion of the building to be removed is on the north end of the building (facing US Highway 441/Orange Blossom Trail).

A new entrance would be constructed on the north end of the building. The existing entrance on the east side of the building would be used as an emergency exit as well as ADA access.

The restaurant at the Crosby's Inn has been closed for several years. When last open it was known as Gato's Restaurant.

The address is 1440 West Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka FL 32712.

Submitting a Concept Plan for review by the Apopka Development Review Committee is the first step in the process to get the necessary approvals. The members of the DRC have until Monday to submit their written comments on the proposed plan.
