Sheriff asks for public help identifying Zellwood cigarette bandit

Help us arrest this cigarette bandit.

On July 25, 2016, 7:45 a.m. a white male entered the Kangaroo Express store located at 2691 North Orange Blossom Trail in Zellwood.

The suspect, described as being approximately 6’2”, thin build, facial hair, wore a black shirt, black basketball style shorts with green on the bottom and black slide sandals.

Cigarette Bandit 2He asked for cartons of cigarettes, began to look in his pockets and then exited the store. He then reentered the store, walked to the front counter and grabbed three cartons of cigarettes out of the store clerk’s hands.

The suspect left the store in a 2000’s model, maroon minivan with front end damage and a possible Veterans Florida license tag last seen heading North on Orange Blossom Trail. The van was also possibly being driven by another unknown white male.
