Chicago Cubs Win! Game 7 Tonight

Posted

The Chicago Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 9-3 in Game 6 of the World Series last night in Cleveland. The best-of-seven Series is now tied at three games each. Game 7 will be played tonight in Cleveland.

Chicago got an early lead by scoring three runs in the top of the first inning.

But it was the third inning that made it clear the Cubs were not going down easy. They loaded the bases with a walk and two singles. Clevenland pulled thier starting picture, but his replacement gave up a grand slam to Addison Russell.

The Indians threatened to get back in the game in the fourth inning with a double and an RBI single. They loaded the bases, but could not score again.

The Indians got another run on a solo home run in the fifth inning.

The Cubs appeared to close the deal in the ninth inning with a two-run homer to right field, making the score 9-2. But the Indians scored one more in the ninth.

The final game will feature a showdown between Indians ace Corey Kluber, the winning pitcher of Games 1 and 4, and Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks.

It might be time to brush up on that song, "Go Cubs Go."

Go, Cubs, Go!

Go, Cubs, Go!

Hey, Chicago, what do you say?

The Cubs are gonna win today

They got the power

They got the speed

To be the best in the National League

Well this is the year

And the Cubs are real

So come on down to Wrigley Field
