Breaking news overnight: Gunshot victim found in car on 13th Street

At approximately 9:20 PM last night, Orange County Deputies responded to a “man down” at the intersection of Robinson Avenue and 13th Street in South Apopka. Upon arrival, they located a male (38 years of age) inside of a vehicle that had crashed. The victim appeared to have been shot at an unknown location prior to crashing his vehicle.

The facts and circumstances leading up to the shooting are unclear at this time. Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigators are responding to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation.

At this time, there has not been a suspect description provided.

The name of the victim was not released.
