Bankson & Ruth Lead January Campaign Fundraising

Becker Outraises Arrowsmith in January

Seat #3 rivals Doug Bankson and Sam Ruth both crossed the $10,000 mark for January fundraising, leaving them both well-financed for the final six weeks of the election for the Apopka City Council. Bankson raised $10,819, while Ruth was just behind at $10,026. Alice Nolan brought in $1,340 and is the third candidate for Seat #3.

Kyle Becker out-raised December's fundraising winner Bill Arrowsmith for the month of January. The Becker campaign raised $6,216 to Arrowsmith's $4,925. Young Kim brought in $727 and is the third candidate in the Seat#4 race.

Arrowsmith still holds an overall lead against all candidates with $17,955 overall, followed by Bankson with $16,115 and Ruth with $12,540.

Cash on hand is also a dead heat between Arrowsmith and Bankson. Both candidates still have over $12,000 in their campaign accounts as of 1/1/2016 - Arrowsmith $12,640 and Bankson $12,599. Ruth currently has $7,041 cash on hand while Becker has $3,328.

Ruth led the way in individual donors in January with 79, followed by Bankson with 54, and Becker with 37.
