On June 3-5, 2016, A TRADITION BEGAN

Apopka High School’s 1st Annual 80's Mass Class Reunion for graduates and those who attended, taught or worked at Apopka High School during 1980-1989 took place. The weekend of fellowship and reunion began at Gators Dockside in Ocoee on the evening of Friday, June 3rd followed by an evening dinner dance at the Fran Carlton Center in Apopka on Saturday, June 4th.

The Friday night Meet & Greet was met with the excitement of reuniting classmates from the decade and culminated with a banquet on Saturday filled with fun including a local D.J., photo booth, many giveaways, and a display of yearbooks and other memorabilia.

The event was a success!

Sherrie Parker, a steering committee member, stated, “it was great to see everyone reunite, we plan to make this an annual community event and hope to increase the participation. Hats off to everyone who attended and made this event possible.”

Stay tuned for the 2nd Annual AHS 80's Mass Class Reunion in 2017.
