Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 7/10/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 7/4/2017 - 7/10/2017 shows 13 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Five burglaries were reported at residences at East 6th Street, Tilden Avenue, Summit Chase Avenue, West Myrtle Street, and West 8th Street.

Five vehicle burglaries were reported on Wyndham Pine Drive, Seburn Road, Frenzel Drive, Canyon Way, and Edisto Place.

Three burglaries were reported at businesses on Sheeler Avenue, South Orange Blossom Trail, and East 8th Street.

Apopka Chief of Police Michael McKinley tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

        • 3 - Business
        • 5 - Residential
        • 5 - Vehicle
