Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 4/17/2017

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 4/11/2017 - 4/17/2017 shows 9 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

This weeks report shows an overall drop in Burglaries reported to Apopka Police Department. However, the number of Residential Burglaries increased. Three of the four Residential Burglaries reported were in subdivisions near the intersection of Sheeler Rd. and Cleveland St.

Apopka Chief of Police Michael McKinley tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:

  1. Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  2. Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

        • 3 - Business
        • 4 - Residential
        • 2 - Vehicle
