Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 10/31/2016

The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 10/25/2016 - 10/31/2016 shows 21 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.

Again, good news for business owners, there were no Business Burglaries reported during the week. The number of Vehicle Burglaries reported has gone back up, nearly tripling what it was last week.

Five Vehicle Burglaries were reported in the area on the south side of Apopka Blvd. between Sheeler Rd and Lakeville Rd. About a half a dozen of the Vehicle Burglaries appear to be in parking lots. Best to head the below advice from Chief McKinley!

Apopka Chief of Police Michael McKinley has asked us to remind everyone that many of this week's vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do two things:

  • Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  • Lock your car doors

The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:

      • 0 - Business
      • 4 - Residential
      • 17 - Vehicle
