Applications open for Woman's Club scholarship

The Apopka Woman's Club will hold a scholarship application process for consideration by the club's education committee. It is open to Apopka area young women who are high school seniors, and also to an adult woman who is continuing her education.scholarships

Applications for high school seniors (Regular Scholarship) are located at Apopka High School and Wekiva High School guidance counselor’s office or you can find it online at http://www.apopkawomansclub.org/scholarship-applications. Requirements for the Regular Scholarship are as follows; student must be female, student must have been a resident of Apopka or zoned for Wekiva High School/ Apopka High School throughout both her junior and senior years, student must have a minimum 3.0 grade average and submit supporting paperwork.

Applications for adult women (Special Scholarship) are located online at http://www.apopkawomansclub.org/scholarship-applications. Requirements for the Special Scholarship are as follows; must be female, be the age of 19 or above, pursuing a non-degree certificate or license in a vocational or technical program, and must reside in an Apopka area zip code now and for the previous two (2) years.

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 27, 2017.
