Victory Church reaches new milestone

Posted

This past Sunday, Victory Church World Outreach Center celebrated their 21st Anniversary. It was an event filled with joy, good memories, and excitement for the future! Having started the church back in September of 1995 with their 4 children and a handful of people, Pastors Doug and Jeri Bankson and their little flock have certainly come a long way.

Victory Church - Doug BanksonVictory Church’s two morning services were combined into one as special guest speakers Kevin and Anne Durant joined the special celebration. Kevin is a talented trumpet player while his wife Anne is known for her singing talent as well as the miraculous healings which frequently occur in her prayer lines. Among the many testimonies of that day, one Victory Church member even had eyesight restored, having suffered from Duane Syndrome from birth.

There were also several surprises unveiled at the Victory Church 21st Anniversary. Pastor Doug received an award from parent church Cornerstone World Outreach Center located in Sioux City, IA. The award is known as Cornerstone’s highest honor and is only given to those who have lead successfully in the areas of family, church, and government.

Looking to the future, Victory Church also revealed a new logo as well as a property purchase which could become Victory’s secondary campus. After the morning service, members of the congregation visited the new property located just north of Rock Springs Ridge to say prayers of blessing. With all the growth and changes they are seeing, Pastors Doug and Jeri are confident that 21 years after the ministry’s humble beginning, Victory Church’s future has never been brighter.
