Veterans Healthcare Town Hall Meeting scheduled

Orlando VA Medical Center director Timothy W. Liezert will lead a Veterans Healthcare Town Hall Meeting set for Monday, Feb. 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Orlando VAMC’s Lake Nona campus. The event is open to Veterans and their families, congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, the media, and other Veteran-based community partners.

The meeting continues the VA’s efforts to discuss VA healthcare and benefits on a regular basis so Veterans may communicate with their healthcare facilities directly, and provide feedback on their experiences with VA care. The goal is to increase communication between Veterans and the Orlando VAMC that fosters quality feedback and specific suggestions on how the medical center can better serve its Veterans.

VA leadership will be present for direct discussions, and the medical center will provide resources and experts in offering services valuable to Veterans. Doors will open in Auditoriums A at 1:30 p.m. for Veterans seeking information and services, and the program will begin at 2 p.m..

Attendees should park in the patient parking garage and follow the signs to the auditorium. The Lake Nona campus is located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL 32827.
