Wekiva Defensive End Norell Pollard

The University of South Florida coaching staff became the most recent to extend an offer to Pollard, a defensive end at Wekiva High School. The 6-foot-1, 260-pound pass rusher has close to two dozen offers now including USF, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, NC State, Rutgers, Miami, Mississippi State, Florida, Georgia Tech and Boston College.

The Gators are viewed as the favorite according to 247Sports.com.

Pollard is a three-star prospect and the 39th ranked strong-side defensive end in the country. USF went to check on him this spring and hope to get him in on a visit this summer.

Wekiva finished the 2017 season with a 13-2 record, including a trip to the 8-A State Regional Finals during its historic run in the postseason.
