Trader Joe's pulls an ice cream product from its shelves

Recall Alert:

Trader Joe's has issued a recall of its private label 'Green Tea Matcha' ice cream due to foreign matter in the product.

This is a voluntary recall because of the potential presence of small metal pieces in the product. There have been no injuries or illnesses reported to date and all product in stores has been removed from freezers and destroyed.

Customers are advised to not eat the product. Trader Joe's is advising customers to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
