Sullivan having "coffee and conversation" this month at the UCF Apopka Incubator

Posted

It was a contentious legistative session in Tallahassee this year with many bills being passed that will affect the lives of Apopkans. And later this month, State Representative Jennifer Sullivan will answer questions about those laws in person. Sullivan is holding a Coffee and Conversations event at the UCF Business Incubator on Thursday, August 24th from 8:00am to 9:00am. The event is co-sponsored by the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce. Coffee and Conversations is an opportunity to hear about the 2017 Legislative Session and discuss state-related issues. The event is open to the public. For more information, please contact the office of Representative Jennifer Sullivan at 352-742-6275.

Sullivan or her staff also hold monthly office hours in Apopka, and can also assist you with any state matters at their Eustis office, which is located at 2755 South Bay Street, Unit D, Eustis, FL 32726, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, or email Morgan.hatfield@myfloridahouse.gov.

If you live north of 441 you are most likely in District 31 and Jennifer Sullivan is your State Representative in Tallahassee.

Sullivan is in her second term in the Florida Legislature after decisive wins in 2014, and 2016. She is the Majority Deputy Whip of the Florida Legislature.

Back in November of 2016, Sullivan won a convincing victory and a second term in the State House District 31 race by defeating challenger and non-party-affiliate Robert Rightmyer. Sullivan received 70% of the votes in the election.

To RSVP for the event, call the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce at 407-886-1441.
