Orange County Clerk of Courts hosting Operation Green Light

Posted

Having a clean driving record is not only a legal requirement, but it can also significantly impact your life in ways you may not even realize. A clean driver's license can be a valuable asset that can help you in many aspects of your life, from getting affordable car insurance rates to landing your dream job. Conversely, a poor driving record can not only cost you financially but can also lead to legal trouble and even put your safety and the safety of others at risk. Therefore, it is essential to prioritize safe driving habits and maintain a clean driving record to ensure a safe and successful future.

Operation Green Light is being held statewide from April 6-20th. This initiative aims to help thousands of people with overdue traffic tickets or criminal fines whose driver licenses have been suspended.

In Orange County, we will have extended hours on April 17, 2024 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. to help customers with outstanding traffic tickets and criminal fines get on a payment plan as the first step to getting their driver’s license reinstated.

Customers may be eligible to waive certain collection fees, get on a payment plan, and reinstate their suspended driver’s license if all requirements are met. A payment plan requires a down payment, and reinstatement fees are applicable.  Affordable down payments are available.

No appointment or prior registration is needed.

WHEN:
April 17th
WHERE: Orange County Courthouse, Suite 410
EXTENDED HOURS: April 17 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If customers are not able to attend this initiative, the Clerk’s Office Compliance Division in suite 410 can assist residents with payment plans for a suspended driver’s license at any time of the year. Details are available at www.myorangelcerk.com.
