Sheriff: Be on the lookout for bank robbery suspect

Sheriff’s Office investigating bank robber

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at the Trustco Bank, located at 9400 S. US Hwy. 17-92 in unincorporated Maitland.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., the suspect entered the bank armed with a gun and demanded cash from the teller. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and handed him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene. No one inside the bank was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-40 years old, approximately 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a green camouflage hat, a green plaid button down shirt, blue jeans, and had beige stocking covering his face.
