From the Orange County Clerk of Courts

Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell invites you to attend the next Legal Matters Forum – State of the Records: Access to Justice Made Easy for You, on Wednesday, March 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Orange County Courthouse Jury Assembly Room.

This forum will feature the Clerk’s Office enhancements to technology to improve customer service, expansion of the Self Help Center, and details about what is confidential and what is not when it comes to public records and court records.

The forum is being held during Sunshine Week, which is from Sunday, March 11th to Saturday, March 17th. As the keeper of court records for Orange County, Sunshine Week is important because it provides an opportunity for our office to demonstrate our ability to manage court records efficiently and provide access to the public.

Legal Matters was created as a service for the public to make legal information more easily accessible. “These forums are one of the best ways to give our citizens more access to justice and access to the information they have the right to know,” said Clerk Russell.

All forums are free to attend. This forum is the sixth in a series of legal education seminars Clerk Russell has conducted since the fall of 2015. Other forums have focused on housing law, foreclosure and probate topics.
