Orange County Animal Services needs your help

Volunteers assist in many different aspects at the Orange County Animal Services Shelter. There is a role for every person at Animal Services as there is always life-saving work to be accomplished! Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Showing available dogs and cats to prospective adopters.

Photographing shelter pets

Greeting visitors in the front lobby

Bathing and grooming the shelter pets

Assisting in the clinic and kennel

Assisting with the marketing of shelter pets

Friday, my colleagues and I had the opportunity to volunteer by walking dogs around the nearby dog path at the shelter. Getting the dogs out for more exercise was an idea inspired by a volunteer recently. To find out how you can help, please visit:
