NFL Stars to host a free youth football camp

Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Jaye Howard and a team of NFL pro football all-stars will host a free youth football camp and community outreach event on Saturday, April 9, at Apopka's Northwest Recreation Complex.

Howard, who attended Jones High School in Orlando and the University of Florida in Gainesville, just finished his fifth season with the Chiefs. He will be in Apopka to teach teenagers and pre-teens the basic skills of football; as well as provide some additional football tips to those that currently play and provide tools to enhance their current physical fitness.

The event will include a Meet & Greet and autograph session with Jaye Howard and his NFL friends, followed by games, carnival rides, food truck, live music and entertainers.
