Posted

Another hurricane is headed towards Apopka.

Hurricane Grill & Wings continues its national expansion with the opening of its newest restaurant in Apopka. It's scheduled to open this May at the Wekiva Riverwalk shopping center at the corner of 436 and South Wekiwa Springs Road.

The island-inspired restaurant is 3,500 square-feet and features a large outdoor patio and inside/outside bar. About 50 employees are expected to be hired at the location.

Hurricane Grill & Wings Apopka is a franchise location owned by Mikey and Diana Joseph. This is the first location for the couple, who are from Trinidad, but a few more are planned.

The Josephs are experienced restaurateurs in Trinidad and in the United States.
