This Monday on LET’S TALK ABOUT IT with Rod Love and Greg Jackson, the “Dynamic Duo” will once again focus on solutions to crime and violence in underserved communities ahead of the “Community Emergency Crisis Response” forum being held Thursday March 14, 2019 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Apopka, starting at 6pm.  As frustrations mount, Rod and Greg will appeal to the role of politicians, community leaders, churches and residents. Everyone has a role to play in public safety.  Forget about a “Wall” for a moment, let’s talk about how to STOP the violence in our communities.  This is a “can’t-miss” show!

Let’s Talk About It, with Rod Love and co-host Greg Jackson, is an edgy radio program that has a distinct “Apopka” tone.

Hosts Rod Love and Greg Jackson are well-known figures in Apopka. Love is a local businessman, was the co-chair of the Apopka Task Force against Violence, and was recently named the Orange County District 2 Commissioner. Jackson is a local attorney that ran for the Florida Legislature in 2016 for District 45, which includes a part of Apopka.

Let’s Talk About It describes itself as a show in search of results-oriented solutions. It tackles important subjects such as crime in urban communities, jobs, business growth, relationship with the police, transitioning from a mom and pop proprietorship to mom and pop incorporation and a whole lot of other action initiatives that affect the quality of life of individuals and families are the major focus. Its goal is to develop an understanding of the everyday needs and issues of people and assist in empowering them with the necessary information or motivation towards addressing such needs, all with the support of professionals or experts who will be the show’s guests.

  1. I’m especially hoping that the local death involved shootings are one of the biggest topics on the table with our apopka community-based “Apopka voice”! The violence is just horrendous. The south Apopka community is one of the most scariest ofareas where hearing gunshots on a daily basis is actually somewhat normal if you are a resident of the South Apopka. Our Community leaders must amor attentive at this issue hopefully it not being taken after someone especially Community leader loses their children or child because of this violence I believe I have lived in a lot of areas during my lifetime I’m 39 years old I live in the heart of North Philadelphia which is one of the worst parts a Philly and I must say it doesn’t have shit excuse my language on South Apopka Florida have us to friends and the last one week because of the violence with guns
