I have a plan...

By Charles Towne

Listen carefully: do you hear it? He is speaking to you right now, today.

That low gentle whisper that you hear speaking your name, that is Papa God talking to you.

If you listen carefully you might hear Him say, “I have a plan…”

Yes, Papa God has a magnificent plan for your life and mine. He is only waiting for our permission, and yes, our cooperation.

Yes… you can believe it, He has a plan.

For most of my life, I have blundered along, wandering aimlessly, never certain of anything other than a certain uncertainty that left me as empty and hollow as grandma’s broken teapot that her cat knocked off the shelf when he threw a hissy fit.

How do you suppose God works? Perhaps the real question should be… how does He lovingly influence the lives of some to their betterment while others… well, they resist Him?

Do you suppose He has a great plan, a design for each of us and He is anxiously and lovingly waiting for us to cooperate so that He can work miracles of glory in us and through us to His divine purpose?

Have you ever crossed paths with another and felt impressed to speak to them, perhaps pray for them? Remember, that is God speaking to you at that moment in space and time, and He is whispering… “I have a plan.”

Perhaps He is speaking to you right now and He is saying, “I have a plan.”

Oh, you know what I am talking about. He has ways of speaking to us beyond mere words… ways discerned only by the heart.

Listen carefully… Do you hear Him? He is saying to you right now, “Listen carefully my child. I have a plan for your life!”
