Premium pet supply retailer to host National Adoption Weekend, April 26th-28th, in partnership with local rescues and shelters to help pets find ‘furever’ friendships
From Pet Supermarket
This Pet Appreciation Month, “BFF” will take on a whole new meaning: best friends furever. In addition to hosting a National Adoption Weekend April 26th-28th, Pet Supermarket will donate all proceeds from the sales of its special, limited edition, $5 pet bandanas to directly support local rescues and shelters in Pet Supermarket communities. Last April, Pet Supermarket raised more than $150,000 through this effort since each store works with the local pet shelter of their choice.
Local rescues will be on-site at all Pet Supermarket store locations with pets looking for a BFF available for adoption. Throughout the weekend, stores will also celebrate with raffles, refreshments, and giveaways.
“Pet Appreciation Month at Pet Supermarket is about treasuring the relationships we have with our own pets and supporting local rescues and shelters that make those ‘furever friendships’ possible,” said Tina Shane, Pet Supermarket’s chief store operations officer. “Customers who purchase a bandana are donating directly to the cause, as their generous contributions continue to make a big impact in the lives of homeless animals in their community,” said Shane.
The Apopka Pet Supermarket is located at the Hunt Club Corners at 534 South Hunt Club Boulevard 32703.
