The Apopka Voice will update this article as more details are known.

  1. I was on 429 when the authorities were ‘cleaning up’ and wish I hadn’t seen the overturned truck. My prayers and thoughts go out to the woman’s family and friends during this tragic time.

    • Candy Sullivan, this was my beautiful 23 year old daughter. I can’t imagine the sight you witnessed that day. I pray that the images don’t haunt you. I often thing of those that were on the scene of the accident with my daughter. We still do not know what caused the accident, and believe we never will.

    • Sharon Lee Gates, we still have no word on how the accident happened. This was my beautiful daughter. She was only 23 years old. 🙁

  2. I see that a driver, has once again, plowed into and through the brick wall on Votaw Road, at the end of Christiana St. I know people are tried of having to constantly redo the brick wall there, as it happens so frequently. They previously installed a long sturdy guard rail across there, but whoever plowed into the wall, took out the guard rail in front of the wall, as it is laying there all crumpled. They must have been flying!!! Looks like it just happened, but I don’t know when it did, as I don’t go that way all that often. It seems to me, that whoever was driving, must have gotten seriously injured or worse, just don’t know.

  3. There also was some kind of wreck there at the intersection of the 451 and 441 last night around ten o’clock, as they had the intersection blocked, and the fire trucks, ambulance, etc. out there, and I saw them using push brooms in the roads to clean up. The roads are all getting dangerous to drive on!
