From the Orange County Clerk of Courts

Did you recently get engaged? Are you planning to pop the question? The Orange County Clerk of Courts Office will perform special wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2018.

The ceremonies will be held at the Clerk of Court’s newly renovated ceremony room at the downtown Orlando Courthouse.

“I want to provide a special day for couples getting married at the courthouse, and our newly updated and beautiful ceremony room is a great way to do this,” said Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell.

For Valentine’s Day only, couples will receive a package which includes the wedding ceremony fee, a reserved appointment time in the newly renovated ceremony room, a commemorative certificate, and wedding photos on a flash drive to remember the important milestone for a $50 fee.

Celebratory cupcakes will also be served. Please note that appointments are available only on February 14, 2018 at the downtown Orlando Courthouse location. These reserved times mean shorter wait times and make it easier for couples to invite family and friends to their special day.

Marriage ceremonies are also available any day including Valentine’s Day at our Apopka, Ocoee, and Winter Park branches for the usual $30 fee without an appointment.

  1. What about Apopka City Hall? Any Valentine marriage ceremonies scheduled? That young couple that got all decked out, and showed up to get married awhile back, was great! They were a gorgeous couple. Mayor, are you ready, if a couple shows up to get married on Valentine’s Day?
