Apopka's Carolynn J. Scully Schedules Book Signing

Award-Winning Poet Carolynn J. Scully pens first book of poetry for children.

A book signing will be held at Family Christian Bookstore in Altamonte Springs, this Saturday, April 30 from 11am-2pm for Apopka resident Carolynn J. Scully.

She says "Come by with your children and they will receive a treat (not candy!) The store is located by the Albertsons on the corner of Palm Springs and 436.

Within the pages of Carolynn J. Scully’s new book, Something Good Inside of Me – A Children’s Poetry Keepsake Journal, ($10.99, paperback, 9781498450621) young readers will discover an outstanding collection of whimsical poems written to entertain as each teaches valuable truths.

The reader is invited to explore their own feelings, thoughts, and ideas through creative activity on pages throughout the book/journal. The author’s poetry is a personal celebration of relationship with God, family, and friends. Adorable, color illustrations accompany each charming poem.

Carolynn J. Scully has a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relationships from Colorado State. She is a member of The National League of American Pen Women and has been recognized as an award-winning poet in two nationwide contests and by the Florida NLAPW. She is a member of Creatively Called and a CLASS and CLASS Reunion graduate.

Her work has been published in compilation books, a children’s calendar and as part of craft projects and framed art. She has created greeting cards that offer heartfelt and unique messages for almost any occasion. Carolynn is a committed disciple of Jesus Christ, and an active member at Journey Christian Church.
